I have to say this is an absolutley fabulous day out - it is so nice to find people so dedicated to the welfare of the birds but also catering for the visitors. The educational aspect of the visit was second to none and our children have not stopped talking about the sanctuary since we left.

What is so nice is that you do get to 'wear the glove' and have the birds fly to you and my 5 year old daughter was so pleased to experience this - the volunteers do make it clear that the welfare of the birds is their first priority but do try to let you have a hands on experience.

An exceptional day out and I have to say for the admission they charge great value for money.

Congratulations to the volunteers - it must take an awful amount of time and effort but you can see the birds are really happy at the sanctuary.
