What visitors are saying about Turbary Woods, these are some of the positive comments from visitors to Turbary Woods Owl and Bird of Prey Sanctuary.
Just to say we had a really enjoyable day at the centre today. Staff were great explaining the nature of the sanctuary and about the different birds - we even got to see and touch the baby barn owls and to also see a rare black barn owl.
Displays were interesting for information as well as photography close ups and to take part in flying the birds. Having just taken up photography as a hobby and a keen interest in wildlife this would definately be somewhere I would recommend.
Just wish we lived closer to attend more often but we will definately come to the sanctuary again in the not too distant future. Thanks to everyone there.
