What visitors are saying about Turbary Woods, these are some of the positive comments from visitors to Turbary Woods Owl and Bird of Prey Sanctuary.
I would just like to thank Roy and Ian for the wonderful afternoon they shared with my Aunty and I on 29th November 2012. I bought the handling experience for my Aunts 84th birthday. I had some initial concerns as my aunt isnt fully mobile but I neednt have worried. Ian was wonderful with her, helping when needed whilst giving her the confidence to fly the birds herself.
The one to one situation is perfect, Ian and Roy told us information about each individual bird, their character and how they came to be at Turbury Woods. We learned far more that we ever expected. We have some wonderful photographs to remind us what an amazing day we had. My aunt hasnt stopped talking about it since.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. The birds are so beautiful and being able to feed and stroke some of the owls was quite an emotional experience. Another visit is on my wish list for Santa.
