Thanks to Pablo Dominguez, who has donoated an original drawing of a Eurasian Eagle Owl and also gave us 6 of the limited edition prints. We are going to be Auctioning them to raise some much needed funds as the sanctuary is sruggling financially at this time of year.

This is one of the injured kestrels we have at the sanctuary. The bird damaged its wing as a fledgling and although it can fly in the avairy it will never be strong enough to hover or hunt for its own food.

A peregrine falcon which had been shot has been released back into the wild. Staff at Turbary Woods Owl & Bird of Prey Sanctuary, Chain House Lane, Whitestake, were called out to rescue the sick bird of prey from north Preston in late April.

Andy has let a very good friend take his first hatchling tawny owl, Nicknamed pip. The owlet is going to The Hawk Garden at Leighton Hall. Where pip will be hand reared and trained to be part of the flying team.
