Olivia Little Owl (Athene Noctura)

Olly was found as a young owlet, barely covered in down,that had fallen from her nest alongside her dead sibling.

A young lady from liverpool found her in the local woods when out walking her dog.  She took olly home and hand reared in her front room.
When little olly fledged and began to fly around she couldn't manage her any more so she brought her in to the sanctuary, Olly is now 2 and half and is one of our most popular owls we use in our flying display.

Weighing only 6oz, we take a lot of pride in maintaining her flying ability, we also take Olly to local schools as she is the softest and cutest owl we have.
